Collect & Enter Data
Whether you plan to enter the data into the Schedules directly or import from Excel templates, Fusion FX provides the means for you and your team to handle the data. Don't worry about XBRL Tagging. The program handles that for you. Note that on repeating row sections, where you can add as many rows as you like, if the data you enter does not uniquely identify each row, you may have to type some additional identification text to make them unique.

Collaborate on Each Schedule
Sometimes some quick communication or notes between your teammates is best recorded within a FERC Schedule. Fusion provides a chat window for each Schedule for conversation or notes. Your users can create multiple topics, each with a conversation, and mark any of them to rollover to the next period with the Schedule. While using Microsoft Teams or Email are great tools, this feature can keep the right information in the most convenient place.

Manage Your Team
From a one person operation to a large team of people, Fusion FX helps you configure your team to handle the work. For a large team, there are Admin user(s) who help the whole process from start to finish, while Managers and Editors can work on the Schedules. But for a small team, you can share the load as desired. One person can even do the whole job.

Approval & Promotion
Fusion FX provides a glimpse of your team's progress as each Editor submits their Schedule for approval. Then each Manager can approve their Schedules. When all Schedules are ready, the Admin closes the Filing Term to prevent further changes by Managers and Editors.

Prepare the Data for the FERC
When its time to prepare the data for the FERC, Fusion FX will generate the XBRL and perform the checks to ensure that the data is cohesive. When you are ready, the tool can help you make your submission to the FERC.

Wrap it up
When all work on the Filing Term is done, you can finalize it. But if you need to make a resubmission, just step back through the process and do it again. Until the next Filing Term, we will make sure that any changes to the FERC Taxonomy are properly incorporated for your next Filing Term.

FERC Taxonomy Update in April 2021
While much of the Taxonomy has needed improvement since its inception, the published Taxonomy from the summer of 2020 still has issues that vendors are having to work around. There is an update to the Taxonomy scheduled for April of 2021. Hopefully, this will address many of the problems and clean up the irregularities in this FERC Forms Refresh. The requirement to file the 3rd Quarter of 2021 is coming around the corner.
